Default Ceramic window tint

Hello everyone,

I wanted to be some feedback on ceramic window tint. I wanted to know experience with it. Any issues or things I should know, and if it will affect my radar detector. Any input is welcome

Ceramic tints is better quality film.

It comes in either metallic or non metallic.

Non metallic is what you would normally use so there's no possible gps interference.

But maybe someone whom is wayyy more experienced can elaborate.

I've used the ceramic non metallic and was very happy with look at 35% on my past BMW

I had Huper Optik film

Thanks Trips,

I will make sure and ask if it is metallic or non metallic, I do not recall the brand but I believe it was Huper Optic

and thanks for moving it I did not know where to post this at.

Ceramic is the way to go. Got it on my Z all the way around. In car temps are much cooler in the summer months. You will like it.

I have Suntek Carbon, which is also a ceramic-hybrid, great performance and great color+clarity.

Ceramic tint is amazing, temps in the summer time dropped BIG TIME for me. Literally it was 90 degrees outside and I went to workout. Two hours later I came back to my car and it was 75 degrees inside of it. Felt nice!
