Default Window drops a little bit everytime the door opens

I just recently noticed that the door window drops a little bit every time I open/close the door (both sides behave the same). I think it used to drop and go back up after the door is closed. Anyone has any idea? By the way, my battery went dead on me recently if that matters.

thanks.

Search "window reset procedure". It takes ten seconds to fix.

There is a reset procedure you have to perform to get it back to normal. Google " 370z window reset".

Jesus guys, just tell him how to do it.

OP: Hold your window button down for like 5 full seconds. See if that fixes it. Anytime you disconnect the battery you'll need to reset it.

Nice tip! I knew the windows dropped and raised every time the door was opened and close but didn't even know that it had it's own reset.

My windows also have a problem.

When I open both by holding the unlock button on the keyfob, my drivers side window starts rolling down a little quicker than the other one.

The window reset does not fix it. Any help?

Probably just minor differences in the circuits and/or motors.

This isn't a problem. This is actually used to help with the air pressure when you close your door. Have you not noticed when you close the doors on a car that sometimes the windows puff out a little bit? The top of our windows line up along the roof and not along the top of the doors like other cars. So when you close your car door the windows would normally flex out. So what Nissan did is made it so the window comes down just that little bit, so when you shut or slam your car door shut this doesn't happen. The window then conveniently rolls back up once its shut. So this is a good thing...

Yha the C5 vettes were notorious for this hahaha. You would need to open a door to shut the trunk.

OPs windows were not going back up, hence the need to reset.
