Open Door / Window Roll-down Issue

Does anyone else have this problem?

Twice now in the last couple weeks, once on each side, I have opened the door and the window has not inched down like it usually does.

I'm wondering if I have a problem starting or if this is common.

Try window reset procedure. At least that would be my starting point. It's super easy. It's posted in several dozen threads here. Not to mention the owner's manual.

If the power window automatic function (closing only) does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the power window system.

1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Close the door.

3. Open the window completely by operating the power window switch.

4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close the window, and then hold the switch more than 3 seconds after the window is closed completely.

5. Release the power window switch. Operate the window by the automatic function to confirm the initialization is complete.

6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other windows.

If the power window automatic function does not operate properly after performing the procedure above, have your vehicle checked by a NISSAN dealer.

Dood.

I know this is an issue with windows not rolling up. You had the issue of it not automatically cracking open?

if you unhooked the battery it could have reset the ECU to not do it... also might affect your fob settings (honk/blinkers flashing etc)

There is a lock out screw in the door jamb. Try adjusting it. My window tint guy used it to keep the windows up when he did my tint.

Repped! I did the reset procedure multiple times but didn't work. Going to look for this lockout screw now.

Is yours doing what mine does?

I don't think I've ever had that happen... I'm interested to see what the solution is though.
