You're likely to see different results from doing the reset, but keep doing it until you get the result you're looking for.. thats what happened to me.

I think so. My window doesn't auto roll down when I open the door like it usually does, it used to go down like half an inch and closes back up when the door is shut, but now it's no longer doing that. It started a while back after I had tint put on, I just haven't had time to look into it.

In my case the windows occasionally would not roll us after I open the door then close it. If j opened the door again and closed it it would be fine. Reset procedure didn't do anything so eventually I just bought a new sensor/switch for the door and it solved it.

Is that the pin switch in the jam? Is the sensor/switch that one part?

I replaced the part the door closes on and that reads closed or open.

There is a lock out screw in the door jamb. Try adjusting it. My window tint guy used it to keep the windows up when he did my tint.

Can please you show me which screw to adjust?

Pretty sure it's the screw under the rubber piece shown above. If I remember correctly, he pushed in the sensor and then tightened down the screw to lock it up. Then obviously loosen the screw to unlock.

Okay, got it. I saw that rubber nipple looking thing while looking for the screw yesterday but I didn't know that was it. I'll give it a try later. Thanks!! :tiphat:

Fixed! I tightened the screw holding the sensor switch while pressing it it down. All is good now, window is functioning like before!:happydance:

Thanks again scottIn!

Apparently the tint guy loosened the screw to keep the window from automatically moving down because you are not supposed to roll the window down for a couple days after new tints are installed, he forgot to mention to me how to undo it:shakes head:

Well now this morning the passenger side window cracked like it's suppose to, but then didn't go back up. After opening and closing again, it went back. Not digging this.

So, what ever happened with this?

I'm pretty sure mine did this yesterday again, which would make twice now.

Here's what I think is happening

1. Open door, window doesn't go down like it's supposed to
2. Close door, and don't hear the "zppp" noise or see the window go up
3. Go "wtf" and open door again, and the window goes down.

I know the window probably doesn't seal right without the window being down & going back up after you shut the door, but I'm concerned there is an interference issue between the top of the window and the car body, is that the case? I hope not. I don't see any damage.

I pressed and released the little switch in the door jamb that senses whether the door is closed about 20 times and the window went up and down as expected. :ugh:
