permanent line as in before polish or even after polishing? (not just scrubbing it with a towel). with polish it should come off unless ur paint was neglected aka lack of wax/sealant, or abused aka ran through auto washes all the time.
i installed clearbra on my z and i hated that line on the hood and fender. i paid like $200 for the precut, installed it myself, but removed it only a day or so later.
