Clazzio leather seat covers

So I just installed these Clazzio seat covers last night and what can I say could not be happier at the results.

Black seat covers with red leather inserts & red stitching.
  • Fit and quality is excellent for the price: $349.00 minus $31.41 with a coupon ($317.59).
  • Hard to tell that its even a seat cover :D
  • Install took me about 2 hours. I was being picky about it fitting perfectly.
  • Headrest was a pain to install, but other than that everything else was pretty straight forward.

Seats look great! Did you custom order this color combo or is it a standard option? I haven't seen the red centers on the Clazzios before.

Looks good bro, I am thinking about getting the black with black suede insert and red stitching for my Z. Very good price for decent seat covers.

brancky3 04-07-2015 06:17 PM

Do these go over the existing fabric or do you pull that off first (exposing the foam)?

RAMOS 04-07-2015 06:17 PM

It replaces the fabric.

RAMOS 04-07-2015 06:20 PM

Nevermind I just looked up the install... Looks like it goes over top of the fabric.

On their site you can select the color for the base, insert and the stitching. It's just that when you mix and match colors there is a wait time on the seat covers being made around 7-9 weeks or so.

These covers go over the existing cloth seat covers.

Thanks. I just saw that "custom" was in the thread title.

Yup I ordered directly from the Clazzio site. I ordered them during Valentines so there was a discount coupon.

shenlong1337 04-08-2015 07:19 AM

I was told by Clazzio that the little wrinkles will clear out in a few weeks after install. I took these pictures the very next day of the install.

All my little wrinkles came out after about a week or so. The color combo that you chose looks great!

Mine have held up great and everyone who's been in my car couldn't tell they were just covers (although admittedly they are not 370z people). I like the way I can more easily slip myself in and out of the car with these covers!

Yea that was one thing I noticed vs the base friction cloth insert. Hopefully around corners I wont slide too much :rofl2:

These look great yet when I go to clazzio I don't see an option to build seat covers for a 2015 Z :(

With the exception of the Nismos, the seats are the same for 09-15 models.

Can anyone confirm this also applies to the 2016?I would assume so,but don't want to take the plunge unless I am certain.

HulaGirl 11-09-2015 08:35 AM

Good reminder that I have not picked out seat covers yet.
Thinking of black with the bright blue insert.

dvboy 11-09-2015 05:21 PM

I took the plunge hoping they will fit the 2016,the seats look identical to the previous years so I think it should be fine.Ordered it in a custom black leather with dark grey insert and light grey stitching, should blend well with my gun metallic exterior.

As long as your seats are the cloth (base model) you should be fine. Looking at the pictures the seats look identical to my 2014 base seats. :iagree:

Wow

Love this mod I went straight to the site and ordered mine I had been wanting to upgrade my interior and after seeing this it was a no brainer!! for $314 bucks with discount coupon I figured how could I go wrong:happydance:Thanx for the info and of course I will post pix when I get them installed! I went with black body, dark grey insert, dark grey stitching cuz my car is platinum grey so I think this will look good.

Dwight Frye 11-11-2015 05:33 PM

I like the color, but with the stitching pattern the covers look like they were made from the bedspreads at the cathouse in Nevada that Lamar Odom was partying at.

Can u be a little more specific,I am curious as to what exactly u are referring to?

Dwight Frye 11-12-2015 05:44 PM

I was referring to the ones in member Outkazt's Z. The diagonal / diamond stitching pattern and that color looks like someone made them from red velvet bedspreads.

Rayzz 11-13-2015 03:00 AM

Omg

Lmfao .....he said bedspreads:rofl2:

TexasChuck 11-15-2015 03:17 PM

Sliding?

Sliding! That is a good point. Let us know on that.
Any long term wear reports?
Thanks

TexasChuck 11-15-2015 03:42 PM

Installation?

I guess the seats have to come out for the install, right?

Rayzz 11-15-2015 06:59 PM

Info i found

HERES A COUPLE LINKS THAT SHOW EXACTLY HOW TO DO THE INSTALL BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ....NO YOU DONT REMOVE THE SEAT FOR INSTALL !!!!
