I will probably pull mine out for the install. The extra 20 min I think will be well spent getting things nice and tight and lined up correctly.

I'm interested!
But, I find conflicting information on the web site. Under "Leather" it says 3 yr warranty. In the warranty section, 1 year. Also, says "genuine leather" . Bonded leather, foam backed, (my words) is made from "remanufactured " leather.
Also, I read the body of the seat cover is PVC Vinyl and the insert is leather. But considering the cost, this is okay. LOTS of furniture is made this way. Can anyone help clear this up. Signed, Bewildered |

I wanted all blue seat covers and blue is available only as an insert. Must rethink this.
|
I just did hubby's Christmas shopping for him :happydance:
Black with blue insert and blue stitching. I could have gotten solid black with blue stitching sooner (stock) but kept thinking it would be too much black for me. Besides, Kentucky blue-ish works --> Go Cats! |
Email
Hula Girl, I did email them today. Hopefully I'll hear something soon. Yea, i couldn't go for the all black either. If I'm gonna buy , then I want the lighter color insert also.
Be nice if we could get some "reviews" from some of our forum friends who already have the seat covers. Cheers |

Can anyone confirm that Clazzio's will fit a Nismo as well? http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1449482443 |

Also does anyone know how come some clazzio covers seem to have a different leather pattern? I can't see an option to select on over the other. I'm assuming these are both perforated leather (pictures from elsewhere on the forum):
Compare the red insert with the big middle split in the leather: http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1449482610 And this one with more horizontal lines and no middle split: http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1449482610 |

OP those seats look amazing.
I am thinking of getting these seat covers as well, maybe as a Christmas present to myself, but I can't help but wonder how are these covers going to fair in the long run. I looked at other threads, and they seem to be okay, at least for a few months. For those of you who had these covers for a while, how are they holding up? |
UGH you're right! I absolutely HATE that seam in the middle.

Well after much thought and research, I decided to buy my own Clazzio seat covers. I now have the same covers as OP. Do not get mad OP :p.
Anyways if someone is considering buying these seat covers, now is the time. Clazzio is running a special, if you buy 400 dollars worth of product they give you $75 dollars off (If you use the "ELF" code) I was able to get my custom made seat covers ($349.00) + A bunch of leather cleaning products ($29.00 + $35.00) for $338.00 rather than $430.00. I am over the moon, Merry Christmas to me. I am so happy, I am going for a :driving: |
Yep,they said it would take a while and they weren't kidding, been over 6 weeks and still in production.Hopfully get mine in January some time.

Oh well, I do not mind waiting as long as they get my order right. I have high hopes. I will post some pics when my covers arrive. |
I have my set for sale in the marketplace. theyre the black perforated seat covers and they were only on the car for about 2 weeks after they arrived before i took everything off and parted it out.

I can't bring myself to "like" this post. So sorry. Will you be able to replace your Z? |
I just checked my order. I'm at 6 weeks/2 days and recently the status changed from "Processing" to "Container" which states " Your order may show container for 3-6 weeks."

edit: after a quick google search...Looks like they do sell extra material... Now I'd just need to figure out how much a pro would charge to create a fitted cover for the inserts. I would want a cover like the seat covers in case I decided I didn't like them... or they wore out and I wanted to change it up. |

UGHH I just noticed this as well. I want the one with no middle split. And no matter where I order these seat covers from I'm taking a 50-50 shot on which model.

If I had my guess, just by looking at dates on the pictures the ones without the middle split are an older design (before 2015). All of the ones with the middle split appear to be their newer design.

I got mine in finally, took me 3 hours to install taking my time.I pulled the seats out right from the start, glad I did as I really can't see how you can do a proper job of it with them still in the car.The grey looks a little more pronounced in the pics due to the flash,in reality its more subtle, which I like.Overall the look, feel and quality of these covers exceeded my expectations, now we will have to see how they stand the test of time.......

Those look nice, I like the color combo. My '09 is starting to show some wear to the original leather. Will those work on seats that were originally leather by unzipping the OEM covers, or only the cloth seat version ?

Just FYI - They can only do configurations you can set up on the web site...
I emailed them trying to get the the setup in the OP, but with quilted insert instead of perforated (normally, the quilted insert also adds a quilted insert on the headrest, and piping instead of double-stitch on the body -- see quilted setup earlier in this thread).. This is the response I got from them: Quote:

Woooohoooo! It's like Christmas all over again. My seat covers arrived from Clazzio :happydance: :happydance: :happydance:

Honestly leatherseats.com make a way better product.
Spend the extra, do it right. this over the fabric seat cover, looks like a cover, no matter how good you install it. this is because there's no clips holding the material down. I had these, hated how they looked and fit. Went to leatherseats, it looks oem. |
attempted to install these today and right off the bat with a 2 seater theres no way this can be snugged on right without taking out the seats. Maybe in 4 seaters it can be done but not in the Z. Not a problem took 10 mins to take each seat out. Everything went pretty smooth with the bottom. The back rest part velcro that snugs through the bottom cushion and backrest seems to be too short and wont connect with the backside velcro of the cover. When I got to the headrest attempted to flip it inside out and put it on that way, attempted to just slide it on, nothing would work. The bottom part of our headrests appear to be smaller then the top making it difficult to slide it directly over. Any tips from Clazzio owners on how to get the headrest part on and the velcro issue with the backrest? Thanks.
|
Just got to keep working the back of the seat,it was tight for me but just had to keep working it.The headrest looked to be an impossible fit at first, not sure if this helped, but I heated up the cover with a blow drier and squeezed the headrest with it still on the seat for extra leverage and eventually got there,it's tight no doubt, but looks good once it's on.
|
Oh dear! Thanks for the update. I have not even started installing mine yet. Wonder if I will ever figure out how to take out a seat and properly get in back in?
