Default How much were you charged to paint your body kit?

Hey Guys and Gals,

How much were you charged to have your body kit painted?

I might be going with an amuse replica (front, rear, sides, and wing). I plan on doing a two tone scheme. Platinum graphite with satin black (lip, license plate area, and top of the wing).

or

Stillen's front fascia, side skirts, and rear wing. Same paint scheme (satin black fang area)...

and powder coat my stock 19s and the door handles satin black to match my headlights...

I guessed about 1,500-2,000 to paint the amuse replica kit. I got a quote for $125 per wheel to be powder coated and $100 for the door handles.

Really going depend on shop and area competition prices. Ask a few different places then you will get an idea of the going rate. My Nismo bumper is $525 someone I know got his painted for $325. I'm in the country part of Maryland with little competition he is Florida.

I had my last body kit painted in FL and it cost $900 for the front, rear, side skirts, eye lids, and grill (factory color). I'm thinking this will cost a bit more because of the wing and it will be two tone. I emailed a few shops with pictures and I am waiting on responses. I'm not to happy with FRP material on my last body kit because it was prone to hairline cracks and rock chips... I spent a fortune keeping it looking good. That's why my other option was Stillen since their material is similar to OEM quality.

Depends on the colour too. Pearl white costs more, due to difficulty of matching. My quote will be around $2000.

My total cost was a little over $2700... They ended up blending in and I had some fender work done from a botched fender roll that was done before. Minus the fenders, probably $2200. Came out great... I have to go back though bc it looks like there is an air bubble in the fiberglass of my rear bumper and is gunna need to be dug out and completely repainted again.

here in Houston Texas, where almost everything cheaper than the East coast.

In a good shop 350-400$ for each bumper , 200$ for side skirt. Well this only work well for Nissan, toyota, chevy .....look 90% match the paint . Some place only take 200$

thing like BMW, mer,audi...will end up 1000 for a bumper in dealer, and i have to say 100%
