EPT Sealer for Cowling?

Is this something you can use mounting tape? If so, VHB 5952 is my go to tape to mount stuff.

if not, you can try 3M silicon sealant?

It doesn't really resemble mounting tape which is traditionally flat. If you look inside the cowling where the bottom of the windshield fits in you'll see what I mean. Service manual just states to replace with "EPT Sealant".
