They look good, any videos or dyno graphs showing the gain?

m4a1mustang 08-05-2009 09:40 PM

PM sent!

These look good. Looks like someone could build an airbox around them and do something like Steve (Modshack) did for cold air.

Great idea, these do not go through like the Stillen but just down?

m4a1mustang 08-05-2009 09:48 PM

Looks like it to me.

theDreamer 08-05-2009 09:50 PM

Wonder how these fair against the Stillen and SRI. They are lower getting more cold air, but not in front of everything like the Stillens. Not just in numbers but in actually getting cooler air into the system.

m4a1mustang 08-05-2009 09:51 PM

Dunno. If the 15 whp claim is accurate then it's just about even all things considered.

kdo2milger 08-05-2009 09:51 PM

so is that orange bottle a winshield wiper replacement bottle due to the design of the cai?

I think so, I believe NIZMOZ stated something about how on the 350z this was the case with the Injen CAI.

bucketman 08-05-2009 10:24 PM

PM to 70769

FuszNissan 08-05-2009 10:26 PM

I wonder how far down they go. I loved my Injen CAI on my 350

m4a1mustang 08-05-2009 10:29 PM

Hmmm... looking at the right pic in relation to the left pic it looks like they go a lot farther down than I initially thought.

FuszNissan 08-05-2009 10:35 PM

I wonder if they reach the ducts in the front bumper?? ...ummm

m4a1mustang 08-05-2009 10:37 PM

We need more info and pics!!!

m4a1mustang 08-06-2009 11:26 AM

LiquidZ 08-06-2009 03:28 PM

Thanks for the PM. Great pricing. :)

INTENSEPOWER 08-07-2009 12:50 PM

BTW our pricing blows away the competition, the website reflect the MAP not your the370z.com pricing.

Keep the PMs coming, these will be ready to ship next week according to Injen!

couple orders this morning already!

m4a1mustang 08-07-2009 01:02 PM

Thanks, I may order this weekend. Any idea on whether or not the Black finish is going to be durable? Don't want it if it will flake off or scratch easily.

ZForce 08-07-2009 01:28 PM

I have two sets on order already thru the garage that will be doing my mods on both 370Z's. They are probably going thru you.

I was also wondering why Injen did not go with the wrap around to the hamburger like their product for the 350Z. They must have gotten more high end hp/torque with this design. Reminds me of the positioning similiar to the Nismo CAI for the 350Z.

Confirmed on the ETA for shipping, they will not be shiped until 8/12/09 according to my sources.

ZKindaGuy 08-08-2009 12:10 AM

I am curious....was there any exhaust mods done previous to the CAI install or was the car pure stock before the install was done? Just trying to make certain to make the gains reported that the dyno figures are all a result of just adding the Injen dual CAI with a stock exhaust still on the car.

tcarretti 08-09-2009 10:04 AM

Other than bumper removal, is there any other modifications that need to be made? (I.E. cutting the holes for the G3 intake)

INTENSEPOWER 08-13-2009 07:00 PM

Close to a dozen of these sold this week already.

I don't believe it takes any modification or cutting to fit but, I'll ask Injen for you.
