Hey does the front bumper need to come off for the Injen?? Do you know estimated how long it takes for install??

Nope not here either...I ordered mine on 7/31/09 and then the ship date was pushed forward to 8/19/09. The vendor that my shop ordered it through said it was was going to be delivered on this last Friday.

Can someone confirm if the mfg has delayed the ship date going out to their vendors and what is the new ship date?

Update: Received mine on Monday 8/24/09...woot..woot.

first off i'd like to say, i LOVE your wb G.

also, i noticed no one has posted installed pics of the CAI.... though i didn't get mine through you guys, i thought i'd help you out by posting my pics. just did it last night. took me about 30 minutes after getting the front bumper and brace off.

oh and to clarify, the tiny air ducts do not directly flow air to the filters. but a simple plate will easily redirect the flow to them.

also... how dangerous are these in a very rainy state?? I am too lazy to get water into the engine.

Unless your going through massive puddles which I never recommend then you should be fine. It is a cold air so drive with caution in the rain always no matter the brand of intake.

That assumption is correct as it sits behind the bumper. Not too much work though and shouldn't really need to be done very often.
