I know a lot of people that are going to be very happy!

crbn_fbr 04-23-2009 02:10 AM

I would, but from what I have read it's not a true dual. Love the sound though, if that all your worried about this is best IMO!

tvfreakazoid 04-23-2009 03:35 AM

Sounds ok

msl82 04-23-2009 09:35 AM

How much power does this give?

INTENSEPOWER 04-23-2009 11:55 AM

5Zigen ProRacer Sound Clips

Above is the link to the sound clips of this exhaust, it is simply the best sounding exhaust I have heard for the 370Z yet!

Info was just released to us yesterday on it so Ill keep you all posted with updates I do have one for sale right now.

black09Z 04-23-2009 12:11 PM

if i see some good gains from it ill get it, right now im set on the stillen though.

RCZ 04-23-2009 12:24 PM

Sounds exactly like my stillen...

ZforMe 04-23-2009 06:20 PM

Is this a cat-back exhaust? Does it have an H pipe or X pipe configuration or true dual?

INTENSEPOWER 04-23-2009 07:11 PM

This just in from 5Zigen:

It has only been tested for power on Bone stock JDM 370Z/Fairlady with OE ECU that has a limiter at 180Km. When it hit the limiter it was still making power and had achieved over 15whp.

Cant wait to see it on a US spec Vehicle with no limiter and post up numbers!

Be the first to get this exhaust on your Z!

Brazilbro 04-23-2009 08:45 PM

man i really like this one.. i like the dual mufflers!

Fairlady Z can only go upto 112 MPH (111.84 MPH). I can only imagine the money ECU flashing companies make over there.

INTENSEPOWER 04-24-2009 10:45 AM

So sad to limit such a beautifully factory tuned vehicle to 112mph (on the track of course)... smh at limiters LOL:shakes head:

black09Z 04-24-2009 02:38 PM

isnt that about the same gains as the stillen exhaust?

Diversion 04-25-2009 03:47 PM

Really like the sound of this one.. and the mufflers you can see splitting off from the center give it an agressive look.. I'll wait for someone to be the first to reports it's finding from a dyno ;)

ZforMe 04-28-2009 11:17 PM

Any idea of the weight of this exhaust? Any more pics?

black09Z 04-29-2009 12:15 PM

just ordered mine! itll be here in about 2 weeks. of course ill post pics after install. im gonna have a shop install it so ill see if they can weigh it too.

INTENSEPOWER 04-29-2009 01:15 PM

So SICK! Cant wait to see the install pics and maybe you can post up a sound clip as well? Im sure we are all eagerly awaiting morespecs on the exhaust and to hear your experience with the product once installed!:driving:

A little less, actually. But it's hard to compare right now if this exhaust hasn't been dyno'd on a car without the J-spec limiter.

Looking forward to this one. Dyno would really be helpful as that is where most of the other exhausts besides stillen are lacking.

The truth on that statement, I'd be willing to bet that it will beat the stillen exhaust in the same temps, altitude and vehicle.

If you want to send me one I'll dyno it for you. ;)

black09Z 04-29-2009 04:02 PM

Places typically charge anywhere from $70-$100. Ideally, you'd want to do a baseline run with everything stock, then go back after installing the exhaust so that you know how much of a gain the exhaust made.

This place is in Killeen. Looks like they have a Mustang dyno.

The butt-dyno is by far cheaper, and much more accurate!

Ok pics of the install and dyno or this thread is fail! lol j/k enjoy the purchase black im interested to hear the results

black09Z 05-01-2009 02:20 PM

so unfortunatley the shop doesnt have a scale, and its getting shipped there so i wont be able to get the weight. but if they wont take pictures during the install im gonna get underneith it somehow and get some myself. even if i have to go to the craft shop and rent a life for 5 min. lol

Diversion 05-02-2009 09:12 AM

Well do your best to pick up the new exhaust and compare it to the removed OEM exhaust and atleast verify it's lighter than stock.

And be sure to post pictures asap after it's installed! Can't wait to see it.

dainedazz 05-05-2009 02:35 AM

looking forward to the DYNO RESULTS on these! the sound is sick but i'm curious about the power this exhaust has. really looking forward to see DYNO results on these!

i'm currently undecided on which to get. 5zigen or Stillen.

DYNO RESULTS PLEASE
sound clips specially @ cold start and idle would be appreciated ;)

Forumite 05-05-2009 09:36 AM

^^^^^^

Same here, I really want to get this exhaust but am holding off until more info is out. I love the sound of it though and the look is nice.

INTENSEPOWER 05-08-2009 07:45 PM

Much anticipated exhaust for sure!:driving:

frost 05-08-2009 07:53 PM

In for the dyno results.

butters167 05-08-2009 10:15 PM

hello everyone, new to the forum. I am very interested in this exhaust I had a proracer on my wrx years ago. Im just wondering if anyone can give me the piping layout. It looks to be a y-pipe into one long single before splitting into the two mufflers. Can anyone let me know if this is correct.

FuszNissan 05-12-2009 05:32 PM

Any update on specs

black09Z 05-12-2009 07:18 PM

alright guys, i got it. and it sounds amazing! during acceleration its very deep and alittle growly. but crusing on the highway there is NO drone. seriously. i was goin about 70 in sixth and i could BARLEY hear it. under hard acceleration i can actually hear the intakes louder. not surprisingly though since i have the jwt pop charger and their really loud. im gonna try to put some picks up but not sure how to do it as of yet. oh and as far as gains. id deffinetley say theres an increase. i dont have a dyno or the funds to do go to one right now. but i can deffinetly feel the difference especially from 5000-7000.

black09Z 05-12-2009 07:27 PM

here just go here. the guy at the shop took these after the install.

Any chance you can get some higher quality pics of how it looks from the rear using a dedicated camera instead of from a camera-phone? ;)

black09Z 05-12-2009 08:54 PM
