Smile UK Nismo 370Z Import

Have had a couple of 370's now, and was desperate for Nissan to release the Nismo upgrade in the UK this year, but it looks like another missed opportunity. Was wondering about the feasibility/cost of importing a brand new Nismo into the UK? I'm new to the forum and was curious as to there being precedents?

Cheers!

I am not fully aware of the costs associated with importing. But I know you would have to custom fit head light washers from a Non-NISMO for the HID lighting (since the NISMO never recieved this option to my knowledge) and fashion some sort of Reverse Fog Light assembly.

The Headlight washer/sprayer would be the tricky part, but the reverse fog would be simple to do as long as a suitable light was sourced and mount created.

I exported many cars to the middle east before and the cost varies depending on the type of the car and year model. Usually it costs around $1400 (or $3000 in a container). All cars I shipped were used cars. I always buy a car (no tax or registration), get the title and ship it out. However, once I tried to buy a brand new BMW and pay for it in cash so I can get the title to ship it out but the dealer refused to sell me the car with out paying taxes and registering the car and getting a tag. There reason was it's a state law for brand new cars. To me paying that high percentage of taxes and registering for that car was pointless since the car wont be driven here at all. Also, to my knowledge in my state I have a 20 days period from purchasing the car to pay the taxes and registration.

The cost depends on the year made rather than model which takes in to account. So the procedure is bit complicated for importing.

Its my understanding that it is easier to export a car from US to UK than UK to US.
