this is not recommended but it's what i resorted to after the non-dodgy methods failed me.
bump it loose with the starter motor (basically brace your breaker bar at about the 4 o clock position with it a few inches off the ground, foot one brake pedal, press start then let go of brake pedal before it starts). Make sure you use a good bar and an impact socket. Torqueing up the bolt on a 7AT is going to be your challenge. It was difficult to do it on a manual and i never got the full rotation after initial torque was achieves (you have to torque it to x Nm then rotate it a further 2/3 or something. |
