Default Is there a Magnetic trans fluid drain plug available?

Hey y'all, been loving this forum so far!

Getting ready for my 60k service (DIY) and wondering if any manufactures have made a magnetic drain plug for the 6MT, or even for the rear diff? I am about to order one for the crankcase but would love to protect the trans and diff with magnetic plugs as well.

Anyone know where I can score some? My searches have yielded mixed results.

I wouldnt be opposed to modifying some plugs that have a bigger stronger magnet

The stock diff plug is magnetic so no need there.

The stock MT trans plug is not magnetic but I don't know if there would be a significant benefit for a magnetic plug in the trans. The reason I say this is because the metal components which are likely to shave flakes are your synchros, but the synchros are brass and brass is not magnetic.

hmm if the trans plug isn't magnetic (thought it was) you can just go t the dealer and buy a magnetic diff plug to put in there they are the same size. I checked the fsm and there are also magnets inside the case.

Every manual transmission must have a magnet in it somewhere just for this purpose, an extra magnet would not hurt so just glue an "O" type magnet on the outside of a drain plug i guess.

the OE diff magnetic plug fits and is like $12 and there are 2 magnets inside the case one at the front and one towards the back.
