a bunch of codes car safe to drive?!!

c1108 ABS front left sensor 2
U1000 ABS controller network communication
P3400 ABS NO DTC def. found
P0456 evap emissions
p0700 transmission control system malfunction indicator lamp...
cars running perfectly fine and i get a service light get these codes pulled and get 5 codes with only one im aware of and thats the evap one...wtf any of these dangerous to drive with?? i got upreved this weekend but my tuner said all these codes have nothing to do with the tune...its the ECM not the ECU

Take your car to the dealer and have them use Consult 3 or the ABS/WSS tool to test your left sensor...that is hopefully all your issue is.
If that sensor fails to communicate it will cause your U1000 error. Are you auto or manual?

jamesj1996 10-14-2014 02:28 PM

what about the transmission code

jamesj1996 10-14-2014 02:29 PM

and are these safe to drive on

Ive been hunting gremlins with my ABS/WSS system and ive driven while it hasnt been fully functional with no issues...

Not sure about the tranny error....If you are auto I would be cautious.

nah im 6mt

MyKindaGuise 10-14-2014 02:33 PM

Well i never had any issues but dont consider that a fact that you will be fine. Maybe someone else can chime in on why that code may have been triggered. From what ive seen alot of sensors work together on this car so when one goes multiple things seem to be triggered.

im thinking from the dyno...front wheels arent moving but back are so maybe that set the abs codes but my tuner said it has nothing to do with it

Never heard of anything like that.. Hope you get everything figured out.

double check with your tuner sounds like the wrong rom file is on the car for you to be getting A/T trouble codes. U1000 is can comm error so it would go off if the ecu is looking for a tcu that isn't there.

jamesj1996 10-14-2014 04:02 PM

it was an uprev tune doubt something was wrong

1slow370 10-14-2014 04:27 PM

i know it was uprev, but if your tuner used the wrong p/n base rom to build your tune you would get these issues. Like my car is based of E0A3B (09 base 6mt rev match) yours may be something different. I have always wanted to try 1A33A which is a (10 Nismo 6mt rev match) rom.

I'd try clearing the codes and see if they come back. If the AT code (P0700) comes back, that would be an indication to me that 1slow370 is correct about an improper ROM image. If the ABS codes show back up, then it probably means a trip to the dealer.

cleared em all well see soon thanks guys
