Get the tuner to reflash your ROM using the proper image. If you are getting an AT error, that proves that something is wrong in the ECM. Give them a chance to fix it before panicking.

Edit: It shouldn't hurt anything to drive the car with all those DTCs. Just assume that ABS is not going to work and avoid panic stops until you get things sorted out. YMMV

also your evap is the code that most commonly comes up when the gas cap is loose you can try removing and reinstalling the cap to see if that one goes away, what mods do you have other than the tune?

Edit: saw you have the z1 plenum and motor dyne exhaust, area's to check would be the vacuum hoses around the evap solenoid by the back of the manifold, make sure they are all on good and the clamps are on the hoses properly, and the charcoal canister out back if you had to remove the heatshield check to make sure the lines back there didn't get disturbed or worse if the canister cracked or melted.

yeah all the evap stuff was checked but will be re evaluated tomorrow and as far as the abs it works fine....i think thats because of the dyno and the trans code...i called my tuner he said the rom he put in was the correct one

1slow370 10-14-2014 06:16 PM

Well if it wasn't reset since the dyno yeah that might have caused your abs stuff

jamesj1996 10-14-2014 06:18 PM

yeah i cleared codes 3 hours ago

It's extremely difficult to troubleshoot via a web forum, so 1slow370 may be wrong about the ROM ... but I wouldn't rule it out just yet. Does your tuner have enough experience with 370Zs to know what he's talking about?

If none of the codes return, then it was probably a glitch somewhere. Check for DTCs often; the order they show up may be important.

Download the FSM and read up on the ABS system. Something in there might put you on the right track. There is a diagnostic section for most, if not all, DTCs.

Trace out the wiring and make sure all wires are intact and the connectors are installed properly.

Getting the P0700 with a MT seems really weird to me. Look at the FSM to see if SRM or something else on the MT is seen by the ECM as being a TCM. If so, look for a loose connector or bad wiring.

Tip: To search the entire FSM at once, most PDF readers will let you put all the files in a folder and then tell Search to look in all files in that folder. A LOT of stuff gets repeated in the FSM, so you'll have to wade through a bunch of duplicates, but it's usually worth it.

yes my tuner is jas from jds motoring hes been tuning nissans for 15 years along with all other cars

1slow370 10-14-2014 06:47 PM

only reason i mention it is because tuners that do a lot of one car will save a rom for a base on a similar set up and then copy the maps, so he might have had a 370z na tune done before and gotten the files mixed up and instead of flashing the copied maps into your rom # he could have flashed his starting rom on the car and then tuned that. it gets confusing since there are over 100 different 370z rom's.

jamesj1996 10-14-2014 07:02 PM

i hope thats not what he did he said he didnt . honestly im just gonna get it checked out if it comes back...the po700 that is. all we could do right now is guess

1slow370 10-14-2014 07:50 PM

There is lots of stuff that could have gone wrong, hell it could have been from the flashing process and it just needs to be reset. It is hard to say without actually taking a look at the car.

Yep. At this point we're making guesses. We could be close or we could be off in left field. Since the problem didn't show up until after the tune, that seems like the logical place to start, but it could be a lot of things.

Service light came back on only eval code which is good I know that code has been there for awhile. I know what to do but no abs or trans codes so far

So what's the story on the evap code? What's the problem there?

SouthArk370Z 10-15-2014 08:12 AM

CAN communication errors and ABS problems would probably show up very quickly. My guess is that someone knocked a wiring connector loose (or took it loose on purpose) then replaced the connector. If you don't get any more DTCs after a few hours of driving, I'd say you're OK.

Enquiring minds need to know!. Please let us know what the evap problem is and how you fixed it. It may help someone else out later. If nothing else, you can confirm that a loose gas cap will trigger a warning. TIA
