Sounds like the little switch that detects the clutch pedal fully released is making that noise? One thing to check. That switch also prevents Cruise Control when it's defective. Another is where is the sound coming from? Under the dash or thru the shifter/transmission area? I haven't had that issue, but since your car is '12, I'd take it to the dealer under warranty. Use it while you can.
