I agree the alternator is the hardest part and it is very hard to do without taking off the fans

Hey Mike. I've got my bumper coming off for a Stillen CAI and want to get the NST pulleys when it does. Any idea if you'll do another group buy soon or can you give me a price shipped to 60446 in red? pulleys and belt?

Install scheduled for Friday 10/18/13.

May I ask where you getting the pulley install at?

A buddy of mine (onzedge) son Colin is working at a shop over off of Richards Blvd, Sacramento, CA.

I am interested in joining the new group buy! ~

Is it necessary to remove the radiator to install these? Two shops told me they have to, to do it. Quoted me for 4 hrs of work.

No if anything you'd have to take off the fans but if your push them in with a bent bar of some sort you can get it all done with out removing the fans at all I did it with out removing them

We'll set something up by the end of October.

Install yesterday, the shop had no prolems, fans came off for install.

One (feature) to point out. I believe its already been addressed here but too many pages to read thru.

At start up the alternator has a whine. Is this a feature?

Welcome to the NST pulley club! There really should not be any extra whine or noise with the NST pulleys. Using the correct belt and making sure the belt is not slipping should eliminate any potential belt related noises.

I noticed that on mine as well. I have about 200 miles on the NST setup and no whine anymore. I think it is from the new belt.

I have not been able to drive the car because it's in the body shop and they took it across the street for my mechanic to install the pullies. Pickup of car is this Thursday. It's Z Day ! :tup:

I'd just be interested in the crank pulley for a s/c build. Might just go with stillen though

Mike @ NST, Just talked to my tech about slipping of the belt and maybe it needs adjusted. He made me aware that the 370Z has an auto tensioner and there is no adjustment. So I am guessing like Rangerz stated that over time the whine/noise is will disapear.

Finally made my way over to my parents house to pick up the Pulleys.. Litte upset i didnt get my candy though lol
