The majority of these kits have been going out in the order of payment received. Either way, everyone can expect to receive packages within the next few business days. Tracking info emails are generated by USPS.
Thanks guys! MIKE @ NST |

I think so, if there is enough interest! MIKE @ NST |
So I got this email yesterday. Looks like not everyone can expect their packages in the next few days.
Hi Nicholas Thank you for your interest in our site and products, we appreciate it. I wanted to drop you a line and give you an update on your blue NST Pulley Kit. You and a handful of others were on our list for blue kits and unfortunately there was an accident yesterday that has damaged all the blue kits in our group buy batch. I have given the order to rush another batch of blue pulleys. These pulleys are going through the anodizing process this weekend and next week. We expect to have these pulleys finished up Nov 16/17 and expect to ship them Nov 18. We apologize for the delay and understand this news is probably going to be frustrating, please understand this was an unforeseen accident and we're doing our best to get you a kit ASAP. Please refrain from posting any of this info or related discussion on the forums, we would really appreciate it. Thanks again, good luck and have fun with all your projects! MIKE @ NST NST Customer Service NST - NonStopTuning - The Leader In Sport Compact Pulley Development 281-917-0221 Mike, Please cancel my order. I'm not willing to wait until mid November to get a product that I paid for months ago |

Yeah...funny how that information didnt make it to the public though. Just the post about how everyone should expect their product in the next few days.

If they are getting anodized this weekend, why is it still another month to get them shippe out? That sounds completely rediculous. Isnt anodizing one of the last things you should do to the product?
|
Just give Mike a call and see what happened. Kind of vague on the description of accident but give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I too hope I get my tracking number like the rest of you guys.
|
It's not even about the accident...i get that **** happens, but the information flow is inconsistent at best.
- The past update that was exactly the same as the one a month prior - The email not being made public - Saying its going through anodizing this week and next but wont ship until mid November Most of all, the fact that these took so long because they want to make a quality product yet now they are rushing blue ones into anodizing makes me fear a poor quality product that will f-up my car. |
Guys, I think the bashing and negativity is a little unnecessary.
I personally emailed every person on the blue list. I also PM'd each of you personally to explain the situation. The anodizing process takes more than just one day. Going to anodizing doesn't mean everything will be completed on that same day. There are also a couple of other things that need to be done before packages can actually ship to customers. NOTE: Looking back I realize I made an error and typed NOV 18 when I actually meant OCT 18. I asked you to keep this info private and did not want this info to be public because we all know how some forum members enjoy adding flames to fires and causing unnecessary issues for everyone involved. Do you think me having to defend against these unnecessary issues helps to speed this process for customers, or make things even slower? It is not my intention to start a war of words or get into arguments with you guys, so this will be my one and only reply to this matter. I VERY much appreciate the continued help and support we've received from many of you on these forums and I wish you all the best of luck with your projects. MIKE @ NST |
I agree with you Mike. Things happen sometimes and it is more important to me how things are handled. That said if someone backs out on a set of reds you have a buyer if you PM me! :)

Things happen Mike, that's why they are called accidents. Tell everyone openly, they will understand and everyone moves on. No flames or issues. To address your statement about "Do you think me having to defend against these unnecessary issues helps to speed this process for customers, or make things even slower?" ....Posting on the forum has absolutely nothing to do with the production process/time frame. If it did, they you should have stopped posting pictures of girls on here and shipped our parts sooner. What I do think is that if it were posted on the forum instead of a hush hush email, I'd likely have stuck it out and waited a few more weeks for my parts instead of cancelling and you losing a sale. |
I got my tracking # today I had a black kit though. Nick hang in there. We have waited this long might as well see it through.
I would expect you should recieve some NST shirts, hats, and stickers for your troubles though. |

And there on!!! And look SEXY !! Install is simple but not easy! Do not do this in your drive way take it to a shop I made that mistake. Lol I pulled threw but let me tell you I almost died :p no but I do not recommend you do this with out a lift. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...pse5f6b47e.jpg |
anyone else get theres installed yet? i love the difference it make in response and my 0-60 distance seems a bit shorter.
|
It will be a while until I can install mine. Interested in hearing about other people's results as well.
|
How long did it take you for the install? what did you have to take off in order to put the pullys in?
|
Just took mine for a test drive.
It is slightly more peppy I would say, not enough to tell the difference if you hadn't driven it for awhile. Revs quicker for sure and all the gauges are performing as they should. Mine had a different sound maybe from the new belt kinda a low whine. The install took about 3 hours total. I ended up taking my radiator fans out which gives more room. I also used a 3/8 extension slide in between the drive shaft yoke to lock the motor up. The problem you have is you will still have some slack in the drive train which will back off your progress when you turn the crack bolt with your Big Fing breaker bar. I finally had my son pulling the breaker bar from the top as far as he could then I would hold the socket with channel locks from the bottom so he could rotate the ratchet to get more pull on the bolt we did this 3 times and it finally came loose. Probably the most frustrating thing was working the alternator off and on. I spent probably 15 min working it off after removing the 3 bolts. I used an impact wrench so take the nut off and back on no problem there. Then spent another 30 min or so working the alternator back into place. Mine was a very tight fit. Everything else is pretty straight forward just button everything back up. The NST pulley's are both very well made and the crank pulley is much lighter than the OEM one. Hats off to Mike and the NST team  |
