Anyone have a clue about how belt fitment would work out on that combo? I'm guessing the tensioner can make up the difference using the belt length Stillen specified, doesn't look like a huge change on that little alternator pulley.

Using our alternator pulley would be a good idea with your setup. And yes, you can keep the same belt that you are using now. A shorter belt would not be necessary with your setup.

Good luck everyone!

Sure,

I bought the both pulleys and belt as well,

Installing them was rough but everything went smooth later, I definitely noticed that i gained power and torque once i took the car for a spin, great mod believe me..dont waste your money on light weight pulley that have stock size.. it wont do anything.. you "NEED" smaller size to let the magic of light weight pulley works..

I'm very happy with the purchase and i would buy it again with no doubt. :tiphat:

Just an update on this in case anyone else was considering this idea (adding NST's alternator pulley to an existing Stillen crank pulley): it works out fine with the belt Stillen recommends for their crank pulley (Gates K070776). The tension indicator on the tensioner shows up on the middle mark, which is just barely in range for a new belt according to the service manual (and then you still have some allowance for the belt to wear out over time).

Belts are listed and sold separately. The kit does not include a belt.

Thanks again!

Chris, most pro shops should be able to tackle this project in 1.5 to 2hrs.

Unfortunately, no shop in the Houston area will do this install for free. Sadly, we can not offer free installs either.

Hey NST, got any red ones in stock? Gonna put my order in today/tomorrow if so.

Edit: Just checked the website which said In Stock, so you better have me a set in RED!

Ordered! :happydance:

Is it required/recommended to get a tune/retune after putting these on?

No change in tune is necessary. The pulley kit is a real 100% bolt on modification.

Went to check the mail yesterday and my pulleys were there! :happydance:

Bright red, but no belt... Guess that will come later this month NST? I had a note on my invoice...

370Z JT 07-06-2011 02:14 PM

Any dyno numbers for the 370Z with this mod?

V8Killer 07-06-2011 08:56 PM

I have the Stillen UD on my car right now but I already bought the NST alternator overdrive pulley from you guys. So I was just wondering should I get the NST pulley or just stay with the Stillen?

Brazilbro 07-07-2011 12:14 PM

Got mine yesterday... can't wait to get it on.:driving:

Any other pulley reviews from recent customers would be appreciated!

How long have you had your kit installed?
How many miles have you put on your engine with your NST pulleys?
How much of a difference in performance have you noticed?
How much of a difference in MPG have you noticed?
How many hot girls have offered to show you theirs if you show them yours? (pulleys of course!)

Any day that they'll be in stock? or any day it should be arriving here?

Just making sure since my landlord has gone nazi with the mail key, and I'll be moving to a new address this weekend. So if it's not already in transit, I'd need to PM you my new address to ship it to.
