I know it says "maintenance free" and the transmission has no drain plug, but I requested the dealer change my fluid at 40k. There was a significant difference in smoothness

I know it says "maintenance free" and the transmission has no drain plug, but I requested the dealer change my fluid at 40k. There was a significant difference in smoothness and transmission shifting speed afterwards.

I never buy into that lifetime fluid stuff. That is a concept to try and sell cars. The fluid does get worn and changing it more often won't hurt.
