i talk to B&M Tech support today about the filing down of the shifter casting and he said it is a requirement for all vehicles that this shifter is applicable too...

step 12 of the attached pdf instructions...

LOL...I remember the day when C's short-shifters were the only way to go for a Japanese car. They seem to have dissapeared from the market, though. Any word as to them workin on one for a Z34?

Could you explain the Tremec transmission because I think it's only for mustangs and such. Could you give a few more details?? Like how it's better than other transmissions and short throw kits

Is it safe to assume that NISMO parts will be slightly better (in terms of fitment) than other parts? Or is that a disservice to products from B&M and AMS?

Same question.. I'd assume that a NISMO shifter would be substantially better than the B&M, from what I've heard but I'd love to hear your guys opinion Z1P.
