Default diff and trans fluid

Well I'm getting my oil in tomorrow for my trans and diff from redline. My question is has anyone ever tried the lucas oil for trans and diffs on our z's? I went to buy my bottle pump and noticed that it exceeds gl-4 and gl-5 specs. I know we can't run the gl-5 in the trans because of the syncro's but just curious if anyone has gotten clarification from lucas or inquired on that topic? I'm extremely satisfied with redline and am a fan of "if it's not broken don't fix it." Also fellas just a fyi I talked to dave who is a tech and he said that after warranty is out on our cars that the oil interval is 40-50k. Obiviously if you are tracking the car or doing a lot of spirited driving where you are getting a lot of heat soak then the interval will be shorter.

any feedback from lucas would be good to know for a fyi.

I'd just stick to Redline for it is well known for our cars. So far as the intervals I'd do a lot less. But that's just me. For track days change the diff every two days if back to back.

yeah I don't have the funds to track the car, however I have some spirited driving on my car and am interested to see what the color change is at the 30k interval. I don't really beat on the car that much but more or less spirited.
