Go to an empty parking lot with no parking blocks or curbs. Find two parking spots directly across the aisle from each other. Park in one. Reverse into the other. Drive forward into the original spot. Repeat until smooth. Shifting at speed is easy. It's the low speed stuff that can be tricky.
