What does Stalling Exactly Do

First day i got my car stalled 30 times didnt think twice of it but now that im getting better and not stalling on the off occasion i do stall i feel like a hoe.
what does stalling do and can one or two stalls hurt me right now?

You're not going to hurt anything stalling the car out. Don't worry about it.

oh phew cause today there was a cop in to my left as i was pulling out of a lot and i didnt see him so i retardedly let off the clutch and stalled right in front of him...sigh

It kinda hurt my neck and ears a bit when I first stalled a few times. The loud bang and jerk is rough! Scared me, I thought I got hit or something.

Eventually it's going to take a toll on the drivetrain if you keep doing it, but I doubt you caused any real damage. Only thing I can think of is damage to the cats from the unburt fuel and/or damage to the engine mounts from the sudden jolts (very unlikely unless you stall 30 times a day). You shouldn't be stalling at all after this point. Are you new to driving a manual? Stalling every once in a while isn't a big deal, but I'd practice on an old car if you're still constantly doing it.

Yeah, no worried. The car is fine. The Z was my first manual also. Sounds silly, but it's all about feeling confidence. It took me about a month before I really felt comfortable around traffic. Most nerve racking situation is when you're on an upward incline and the car wants to roll back....and stalls. I'd definitely practice hill starts on an empty road if I were you.

First day I got the car i got stuck in incline bumper to bumper traffic. and it wasnt pretty. thats where i stalled 30 times such a stressful day that was.

The way I taught my gf to drive a manual worked pretty well. Go to an empty parking lot with no parking blocks or curbs. Find two parking spots directly across the aisle from each other. Park in one. Reverse into the other. Drive forward into the original spot. Repeat until smooth. Shifting at speed is easy. It's the low speed stuff that can be tricky.

Last time i stalled my car I parked it and saw a huge dog running towards my car and I was afraid it was going to maul my car and jump on it. So i jumped the hell out and forgot to turn it off. I was in panic mode.
