Default Buying a Z - Tranny Questions

I'm looking at a really low mile 2011 (4700 miles) black/black sport/nav.

I test drove it on regular streets and noticed the clutch is really strange. Half way down it its somewhat stiff, after that its really soft and goes down to the floor really easily. Is this normal? I've read some threads about it being "touchy" but not sure if that's what it means...

Also, going into the gears it seems to be "notchy." No grinding, just a very noticeable feeling of the linkages moving.

I'm used to driving Honda manual transmission, and while I understand the Z isn't as smooth, I'm wondering if this is all normal?
