I'm going to break tradition here and not say, "Yes.", because it's up to you (the driver) and what makes you more comfortable.
There are benefits to both, and with the sport mode & paddle shifters you kind of ( kind of) have a MT.
For rush hour traffic I bet it's a godsend.
