Please help: clutch fluid reservoir cap.

My clutch fluid cap is just kind of sitting on there - it is not locked into any grooves. I am not sure if that is correct, but that is

My clutch fluid cap is just kind of sitting on there - it is not locked into any grooves. I am not sure if that is correct, but that is the way the car came.

If you take the cap off and put it back on, you won't get air in the system - air becomes a problem when it gets pulled down the lines, not when it is up on top of the fluid in the reservoir.
