PLS Help! 4.08 FD Install?

Your Nissan "Master Tech" should have told you there is no way of knowing what size "shims" you're going to need 'till he opens it up and installs the 4.08

There's more than just "shims" that have to be replaced as well. Pinion bearings, collapsible spacer, pinion height adjusting washer, etc... I would recommend upgrading the stock POS viscous LSD as well while the rear diff is opened up. I don't know if I would trust a Nissan tech to do this job. I take mine to a local trans/rear diff shop that specializes in setting up gears.
