It revs because its anticipating a possible down shift. It'll rev up even more if you kick it to the left. Its normal and part of the technology. You can always turn it off if its distracting

"It'll rev up even more if you kick it to the left." what? as in you move the stick to the left or right while in neutral? it will only blip like that if you move up or down into a gear. sliding the stick left and right does nothing until you make an up or down motion into the gear. (even a SLIGHT up or down motion will engage the blip) we are talking about the blip that happens when you let the rpms fall on their own with hands off the shifter. |

yeah im with the other guy( nissanguy23) its anticipating a downshift and you are putting it in neutral for some reason instead of just going right to the lower gear .
