Does anyone know what is going on with my z?

The easiest/ first thing you could do is check all the connections on your G3 Intake tubing. Whoever installed may not have tightened them up properly. If they are not

Whoever installed may not have tightened them up properly. If they are not sealed you will get symptoms like what you are describing, and EVENTUALLY you will thorw a code. (I know form experience).
