So what I know is:
  1. The removal of slop inside the transmission.
  2. Some shiming of the detent pins for a firmer gear engagement
  3. Other little miscellaneous improvements.
Since my scynros are shot he is replacing all of them as well as my 5th/6th broken shift fork.

Now to under stand some more on the history of my trans, mine failed Soon after switching to Redline MT85. Not saying this was the cause, but before I swapped fluid I was running Motul Motylgear 75W90.

the Second Transmission I had put the same Redline MT85 in, and lasted 3 track day weekends. It's still in the car now, but has issue.
So we are looking in to fluids as well to help with scynro life as well.

We also noticed some wear on the 5th/6th shift fork,on the 5th gear movement side. This is most likely caused my the natural rotation of my shoulder when shifting to 5th. The rotation is a motion that when I shift, I am adding about 5 degrees of angle (to the right) to the upward movement when shifting to 5th. This is something I will have to correct when shifting.

Hope this helps

Do you suspect that the redline mt-85 is maybe not the best option?

Set up an account so I can post pictures of the build and help address any issues we have found and resolved.

HAHA first one to like the image.
Looking forward to developments. I needed to slow down my shifts to make my tranny happy. Would love to be able to shift full speed.

Just last week I lost 5th and 6th gear while at VIR, so I need a fix very soon. Will I be able to rebuild this trans or should I buy a new OEM one?

Also curious what the ideas may be and parts. I have a lot of abuse on mine with no issues but upgrading is always an option.

Test box is in A car and reviews are good so far. Let's see what a good track weekend holds and I will be putting the carbon lined syncros in the spare box to test next.

I can rebuild it, all the parts are available still and the improved parts are modified parts from other manufacturers.
