Yea it's a little more then that but if that's what they said then good. Again it's not a simple job pulling the intake side off. Also, swapping the valve train take a lot of time and then finding the correct shims is actually the longest part of the process cause there is no standard size every car is different. For each one they will have put the shim in measure and if not correct try another so on and so on.

did GTM give you a time frame of when they would be done with your heads?

Navyboy916 11-05-2012 01:58 PM

Yes they said it will take about a week and half and then they will be shipping them back to me. I am also having the moderate port and polish job added to the heads now and upgrading the valves to.

And the anticipation continues......:stirthepot:

Navyboy916 11-06-2012 10:38 PM

Your telling me about the anticipation. I am currently gathering all the extra parts I need to get before the engine is put back together and in the car. I just ordered the urethane motor mounts from z1 motorsports to flex with the flexing of the motor when the throttle is quickly depressed. I have a lot of extra goodies going on the car when the motor is put back together.

Is there a drag strip in Guam? Power can be estimated with trap speed.
