Meh, now I am paranoid and hear the T/O bearing way more than I used to (mental I think). Clutch in, Neutral, parked, rev, no whine. Clutch out, neutral, parked, rev, whines. Normal? |

Btw, you generally won't feel/hear it when you rough up synchros early on. |

The TOB noise is normal. I've been in 20+ Z's and every single one did it. |

A couple of years ago I was at Lebanon Valley drags. Frustration with traction & 2nd gear problems caused me to get sloppy & I did go from 2nd. to 5th. then back to 4th. Showed the time slip to Chritopher/Lakeside (a nice guy). Still managed a 13.7... true story.....
I now power shift almost straight up, instead of going to my right. |
