Automatic torque convertor

Hi all, what is the maximum engine horsepower can the stock torque convertor handle on a 7 speed automatic gearbox?

The torque rating is what matters. The 7AT is rated to 298 lb-ft. However there are at least a few FI applications out there generating 350+ that seem to be doing just fine.

GTM makes a Torque converter with a higher threshold for FI applications if you ever find it necessary to swap due to going FI or whatever.

As said above...dont worry what the convertor can handle but what the clutch packs can handle.
