Did I break it????

Hey guys, I bought a 370z touring sport about 3 weeks ago and it had 31 miles on it when I got it. I have babied it not taking it past 4k until today I went from 2nd gear to 3rd shifting at 7,500. I had 660 miles on the car when I did that. Did I hurt anything? I am really worried that I tore up something. It is a 6 speed manual.

The car will protect itself from heat damage. It's called limp mode. You're fine.
