You can but the point of the flex pipe is to absorb energy transfer from engine movement... if you remove them you are risking adding stress (perhaps minor stress) to the exhaust manifold. You could also crack weak points like welds...
Again this may never happen, the hangers will absorb some of the stress as well but I'd personally keep them until a problem results. |
