There is no way anything slightly dripping from the engine will be visible on the ground from the front bumper all the way back to about the front edge of the doors. The under tray covers that whole area. The only way to get a fluid leak in that area is to have a big one (lots of oil or coolant) that actually fills the tray and then seeps through the holes in it.

Either your under tray or something in the wheel well is melting, something is dripping from further back than the intake area, or you have a ton of that melted crap caught by the under tray and only a bit got through to the ground.

You can certainly melt the dust boots around the brake caliper pistons, but they usually vaporize rather than drip.

Ok this actually makes some sense in a way. My brakes have felt "PULLY" if that makes any sense, like jerky. But I run my AC ALOT! and everytime i park a huge puddle of coolant or discharge leaks from underneath my car. I mean ALOT lol!

Are you sure this wasn't some type of plastic flash material that just dropped to the floor? Perhaps you ran over something on the road and this was just leftover debris? If you never saw this in a wet/soft state then I would question the origin. Are you sure it couldn't be from something else in the garage?

Do you have kids? ;)

No kids, lol im only 22. So no way jose!!!!

Im trying to think if maybe when my g/f parked her del sol in my garage if it were from her car also... gosh darnit, there are so many possibilities.

My name isn't Jose ;)

Not sure about your brake pulling issue. That could be several things. How many miles on this car? Are you mechanically inclined? If so, remove the engine splash guard from the car and clean it good. Look for anything on there or anything unusual around the engine bay. Place the engine cover back on the car, sweep the garage floor really well and tell your lady to park at the curb and hike it up to the house. :D

So you're 22 and your lady is cute enough that you let her park in your spot? It's picture time!!!

The water under your car when you run the AC is condensation running off. Basically it's atmospheric moisture that your AC components have drawn out of the air and dripped off onto the ground. It will mostly come from somewhere near the front of the passenger door on the underside of the car.

Coolant leaks are bad, hopefully you don't have one of those. I tend to use the taste test when I'm unsure: dip your finger in what you think is just AC condensation and taste it. If it tastes like water you're ok. If it tastes like coolant you're in trouble :)

I'm willing to bet that it was tar or something of that nature... as someone mentioned there is almost no way that the car would be leaking unless the splash guard was removed or it was an EXTREMELY large amount of fluid (enough to render the car a 30 thousand dollar paperweight).

You kicked up something on the splashguard and it dripped off on the ground when you parked. The only other thing would be if it was past the engine, like a bag on the exhaust as was also mentioned. I'd keep my eye on things like the oil level but I wouldn't really worry too much. Only other fluid that would look like that color would probably be the dif fluid which is WAY behind the engine.

The roads where i live have been getting brand new pavement, maybe the new road rock chips got stuck under my car, heated and leaked off? As i recall i drive on that road EVERY day i drive, so thats a good cause for the problem.

Almost looks like what you would see if you ran over a plastic bag and it got caught on your exhaust.
