Magnetic bolt fail!!!! Dont buy this one

So i went to amazon and bought this bolt,

Nissan Infiniti Toyota Scion Magnetic Oil Pan Drain Plug Blue"
$12.99 Sold by: JDMFIRE

m12 x 1.25 was happy when i got it. changed my oil. but then i fealt really uneasy cause it just didnt seem to fit right. So i took it out and this is what
came out with it

Thank god i took all of it out

with that said avoid buying this bolt

Also i dont like my fog lamp. If any one would like to sell me there USDM black fake lamp please let me know ASAP.

The magnet seems a lil extreme, the one i have only have a small but powerful magnet

yeah i am happy i got that. That would have been the worst oil change ever. I dont know why i dont like the fog light. It is really cool but i dont think it goes well with my color.

Wow! That looks like a heli-coil thread repair that's been stripped out. Did your stock drain plug thread back in right?

You cross threaded the bolt. Didn't you feel the excessive resistance when screwing it in? It should screw all the way in with just your fingers if its the correct thread size/diameter.

I am sure that you are right. I think nissan makes one

I have the Nissan magnetic drain bolt. It fits perfectly.
