The HACK

Sorry big guy.

I emailed a couple of forum sponsors about it and haven't had any luck with organizing a group buy, so I took it upon myself to do this. If this is frowned upon, let me know and I can put a kibosh on it.

All I'm doing, since I do some freelance/contract work for B&M, and know most of the guys there in the engineering, sales and marketing department, they let me buy stuff from their store at a discount, and sometimes if I buy a lot of stuff they give me their "employee" pricing. All I'm doing is passing along my discount code to the folks who've signed up for the GB.

Again, let me know if this isn't cool. I'm not making any $$$ off of this, and you can probably confirm with the members here who've participated that no money exchanges hands between me and them. I'm a guest here and I hope I have not offended anyone.

Just so we're on the same page, the group buy is still alive, I'm going to try and contact a board sponsor to organize the whole thing through instead of the half-assed way I've been conducting it so far. For the time being, continue to add your name to the list if you have an interest, the longer the list, the more "bargaining power" I have with the vendor/board sponsor.
