A/C problem

The decompressor thrust bearing failed. ( Click to show/hide ) What's really going on is your blower motor is overheating and shutting off on thermal overload. The smell you're getting

The decompressor thrust bearing failed.

What's really going on is your blower motor is overheating and shutting off on thermal overload. The smell you're getting is the lacquer melting on the motor windings. It needs replacement. Have your dealer take a look, it's under warranty.
