Engine bay cooling improvements? DIY?

Yea true... oil temps is one thing. I was hoping to improve cooling of the rest of the components. All I can say is... don't put your finger on the

Yea true... oil temps is one thing. I was hoping to improve cooling of the rest of the components. All I can say is... don't put your finger on the housing of the VVEL actuator motor

So how about vented hood and fenders? Perhaps some sort of plates or panels that channel the air out of the engine bay?

Zat_Zuma, how hard would it have been to space those 1/2" holes equally apart? looks a little tacky if you ask me...

The angle of the picture and crappy flash misrepresents the overall results, plus I do have something else in the works for a better and drier vented fender liner system.

So did this actually help? I am considering doing the same.. My recent track day saw oil temps of as much as 295! 260-280 thoughout most of the day.

GTM SC Stage 1 with 25row setrab. SC adds a lot of heat.. Track temp of about 105.
