I have another question, is this something that benefits all applications or just more so NA? When I get the GTM SC in the mail, should I want to do this upgrade? Will it compliment the SC? This sounds great!

gears are available in stock configuration, 3.9, and 4.08. Nissan makes them, some JDM companies sell them too but more pricey. Z1auto sells all the combos out there and they know them very well(not saying any other of our companies here don't). Just that I worked with them when I had my vq35HR 350z and the FD gearing changes things up a lot.

Is it a known fact that the diffs are the same from the HR Z's ? Same Pumpkin as well ?

so if I got a VLSD out of a 07-08 HR I could swap that pumpkin into mine with no additional parts needed ?

don't you already have a VLSD? To my knowledge it is possible, may need some small parts, but I believe pumpkins are the same

I had the 370Z 7A/T with VLSD.
Let me know the way to get the mechanical LSD with 4.08 F/D for my 370Z auto.

you would need to change your differential as well as the ring and pinion - there are also some installation parts that will be needed as well

Not looking good for the the Autos if you want to keep cruise control. This is a blurb from the cruise control section dealing with the ICC, I'm still looking for a section seperate from the ICC but I'm willing to bet it uses the same logic. It's from a section talking about trouble shooting and what might cause the cruise control not to work.

If the vehicle speed signal (wheel speed) from the
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) and
the A/T vehicle speed sensor signal (output shaft
revolution signal) from TCM, received by the ICC
sensor integrated unit with CAN communication,
are inconsistent.

I'm pretty sure it's saying that the computer takes three different inputs from the CAN bus and reads them. The computer tables are set up for the stock rear gear and after you change the gears the driveshaft speed and the rear wheel speed do not match in the tables anymore and cause it to fail safe (OFF).
