Default Torco oil?

Gents,

I was unaware of an oil brand called Torco until today, when I ran into it at another site. I did a search here and only found one thread where it is mentioned, but not directly.

I was wondering what people's impressions are? Is anyone using it? Good or bad?

Thanks,

Well, the data in that link you referred to makes it look pretty bad. But remember, that's just 1 sample, so it's hard to really put much value in the analysis. Maybe the guy who submitted that sample was excessively abusive to his engine, or maybe he dumped a bunch of powdered metals into his oil sample because his ex-girlfriend is the CEO of Torco, who knows.

Exactly, as a matter of fact, pretty much all of that info is of low reliability, given the really small samples and different engines, plus unknown previous conditions of the engines.

So, anyone with experience on Torco oil?
