Got my spring in the mail today (Canada post was on strike)

My bottom pin was a pain to get out, ruined the pin in the process. Looking at the bottom bracket it looks like the holes weren't machined cleanly.

Took the car out for spin without a spring. It might be a placebo effect but it's feels so much better. 1-2 shifts are finally smooth.

a side note, I live in a condo with underground monitored parking and it turns out the security guards are paying attention, two different guards came out to check that I wasn't trying to hotwire my own car, guess all they saw was a pair of legs twitching trying to get the stupid pin out
