Default Stillen Gen 3 CAI

Just installed my Stillen Gen 3 Intake about 3 days ago. But I noticed that I cant hear the Intake sucking in air like everybody else' intakes. I had a 06 Eclipse 4 cyl and the CAI on that was louder than my 2011 370Z. Then again the throttle response on the Z isnt too great. Do you guys think there could be an air leak? Or I didnt tighten the clamps down hard enough? Input is appreciated. Thanks.

I've never heard mine till this day either. But I do have a loud exhaust. I would say it's fine.

It is definitely not the loudest intake, but that is the case with all long tube intakes as they aren't short enough for the intake sounds to resonate and amplify in the same way that short ram intakes allow.

But I found the sound was more aggressive above 5,000rpm, especially if you stand in front of the car while it is being dyno'd: the sound will vibrate your organs haha.

The throttle response does lag some. Best way to help it is with a tune. But I'd at least have intakes, test pipes/ HFC's, and an exhaust before it's worth your while.
