its like word association but with a topic.

Well someone invited the OG crowd over so we just brought everything in.
Where can the goat go?

haggomyeggo 03-30-2011 05:04 PM

i think the OGs kinda take over all these threads but its pretty much just the ones that were going to derail anyway.

So back to ways to lighten the Z?? or what was this thread about??

red6spd 03-30-2011 05:11 PM

I think it was about VVEL cracking and how it will decimate all and have 5.0 drivers with there solid rears running away crying :stirthepot:

Stupid Ford, they lied about there 1st 5.0. This new one probably is not even a V8. Probably just has a recording of a cool car so the owners feel good about themselfs on the way to the Nascar race, or the trailer park. Whatever hillbillies do.

Nothing short of FI will do that, but some extra peak power would be more than welcome. I think that some adjustment to VVEL will also open up a good bit under the curve, which is where the Z could use some extra juice. I think a little more freedom with tuning could drop lap times in the Z by a noticeable amount.

I agree completely. If it can produce 10+rwhp/tq under the curve WITHOUT disturbing top end power, it will be well worth it for many people.
