Is it time already

Like AK wrote analysis is the only way how long your oil will last for you. There are just too many variables. In the US we tend to go with

Like AK wrote analysis is the only way how long your oil will last for you. There are just too many variables.

In the US we tend to go with shorter changes because oil is relatively cheap and we aren't as environmentally conservative as parts of Europe, where they tend to stretch oil changes to between 9K and 12K or more.

Regardless of how often you change your oil, make sure you are at least checking the oil level every 1K miles.
