Over 40k I think. Current mileage is around 67k. I don't drive it that much.

MY 2016 nismo had CSC failure last month with 2700 on it. Took to the dealer, and service said, they need to look at it to see if it cover. I raised my voice to the service manager saying " I bought the car 6 months ago and it only has 2700 miles, and you are telling you are not sure if it cover?".

After, car was covered, "THEY should". Now I said I need a loan car as I cannot drive the car and need to go to work. At first the same service manager, told me that the loan car is not cover and will need to pay for it. I said if the car has issue and its a MFG defect and not drivable, you guy need to provide me a car loan. Eventually the head of the service come out and provide me the car loan.

Grrrrrh! Can't believe those initial responses . Customer service is on a respirator these days.

I think I might be the latest victim in this dreaded saga. 2010 with about 43K on the clock. Driving home from work about three weeks ago, not beating on the car whatsoever... Was getting off the highway and when pushing in the clutch to go from 6th to 5th it hit the floor and didn't come up. Terrible brake fluid smell almost instantly. Since then the clutch gets stuck to the floor almost daily and I pull it back up with my foot. Fluid has been pinned on the min line though, hasn't budged at all. I talked to a tech today who told me to top off the fluid with dot 3 and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't drop. He also said to open the reservoir after the car has been driven and pump the clutch a few times while having someone watch to see if the fluid bubbles. Anyone have their tech suggest this? Pretty worried that one day I'm not going to be able to pick the clutch up and I'll be stranded. I should also mention that the clutch takes up very close to the floor now.. Feels like 1.5-2" which I know isn't normal at all.

My dear God. I would be furious. They need to learn from Lexus.

Ok, so this morning my clutch was super mushy down to about half way. I check my clutch fluid and it is empty. I'm hearing CSC failure is possible. My car is at 44k miles and I have an extended warranty. If it is the CSC, will it be covered under warranty? If not, how much is this going to cost me? Thanks guys!

^^Check the terms of your extended warranty. I know the infiniti elite care covers this, so if you have the nissan equivalent it should be also covered. For other third party warranties, check the terms.

Clutch is getting stuck on my 16... Noticed no fluid. Hope I can get to the dealer. About 4000 miles... Or twice as long as my 15. :/

^ unbelievable that the newer ones have so many issues and Nissan doesn't upgrade the part still or acknowledge the problem

Default sagging clutch pedal

I have the same problem, but no loss of fluid. I have to pick the clutch pedal up with the back of my foot, but I still have most if not all of the clutch to shift with. Wondering if it's something else before I spend big bucks to drop the tranny....Anyone?

I doubt it is. You're just getting lucky and the universe is given you time to get some cash together

I dont have a CSC failure yet, my car has only 6000 miles. Checked the reservoir and the fluid already has a nutty brown color to it. Should I flush the fluid and changed to a high temp one or is the CSC failure inevitable?.

For peace of mind I change out the reservoir fluid every oil change with a high temp dot 4.
